GT-2140s are always my first choice. They have great shock absorbency, high arches, and a wide foot bed.
2010-08-09 - BURNING FEET!!

I am an intensive powerwalker on my treadmill exercising 75 - 90 minutes per workout. These shoes were highly recommended to me by a salesperson at a well-known women's sports store. I was told that they were the best shoes the store carried whether it be for running or powerwalking. These shoes had all the "extra goodies" to keep my feet supported and comfortable throughout my workout.
They were absolutely WRONG! For the first couple of months, the shoes were good. But, after they were "broken in", the problem began. The ball of my left foot began burning excessively after 15 minutes into my workout. Now, I have to get off the treadmill two and three times throughout my workout to let my left foot cool off. This is highly unacceptable to me. Needless to say, I'm looking for new exercise shoes to replace these.
I'll leave the decision up to you as to whether to buy these shoes or not. In my opinion, they're probably great for running but, for powerwalking, move on and find another shoe. These will disappoint you greatly.

This is the best athletic shoe I have ever found. Excellent support and complete comfort. I would never think of working out in another kind of shoe.
This is my third pair and I cannot recommend the brand any higher.
