2010-07-08 - Not the best running shoe for me

I always run in Sauconys but I thought I would try something different and go with these. These shoes were not a great fit for me. My feet would hurt after my runs and I would get horrible blisters on my arches. I am training for a marathon and I run about 3-4 days a week. I am going back to Saucony.

This is my third pair of high-end New Balances, and I agree with previous comments about sizing - this shoe just fits differently! Walking around the house they felt fine, but a short run left me with spots rubbed raw and blisters. Sad to relegate such a fancy pair of shoes to walking the dogs, but such is life. I went with the Nike Frees for running instead - LOVE THEM!

bought these to replace my 1224 new balance which i absolutely loved, i figured these would be the same or better,wrong! ordered same size 10D ,these ran wider and didn't have the same comfort and support of the 1224. would not recommend

2009-12-18 - Nice looking shoe, but........

I ordered this shoe from Amazon and the service was great, delivered in one day, and the shoe was attractive. Before spending this much on a running shoe, I should have made sure it was an appropriate fit for someone who wears shoes out on the outside of the shoe, I'm not sure if this is called an underpronator. This shoe is definitely designed for someone whose feet roll inwards when running or walking. Next time, I will do more research on the design of the shoe before buying. I returned these and ordered the Asics Gel Nimbus 11 that match my shoe wear pattern better than the WR 1225.
